Secure Special Needs Unit
Ashford Hall's 40 bed self contained Secure Special Needs Unit, is carefully structured to attend to the needs of residents with varying degrees of dementia.
Our commitment to residents with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias is evident throughout our special needs unit. The environment on the secured unit has been specifically designed to promote socialization and well-being, diminish agitation and confusion, and provide a warm and loving atmosphere in which residents can thrive.
Our staff members receive special training to work with the Alzheimer's and dementia population and they excel at meeting the unique needs of those with dementia-related illnesses. This program provides a safe and secure environment that is stimulating and, at the same time, warm and compassionate.
Respite Care
Caring for a loved one at home can be challenging. Sometimes you need a break, a chance to refresh and relax.
To meet this need, we offer short-term care designed to provide nursing services for your loved one. We work with you to make this temporary transition as pleasant as possible.
Hospice Care
Ashford Hall works closely with several hospice agencies to provide in-house end-of-life care to terminally ill residents and their families.
Recreational Activities
Ashford Hall's busy social program includes bingo, monthly birthday parties, arts and crafts, family nights, religious services, musical programs, holiday parties and more! We even have an activity van available for day trips. We offer our residents a diverse program to meet their physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
